I ended up changing my project idea from what I had originally posted on my brainstorm blog. I ended up creating an animation that loosely mimics Pacman and worked in stick figures. While I didn’t have enough time to create what I originally wanted to, I’m still happy with and proud of the end result. I definitely struggled with the software a little bit in the beginning but I think that it turned out decent and I was able to create a cohesive story with a beginning, middle, and end. I had a great time working with my brother and I was grateful to have his help and his ideas. He did a great job acting everything out and really helped me execute my vision. My idea wasn’t super complex but with the editing and animation I think it made it look more advanced. My favorite part of the entire video was the final animation scene. I followed a video to help me get the wind up and punch to be accurate and it turned out how I wanted to. I definitely think I could’ve added more expressive effects and stuff to convey the motion of the animation more and make it look more like the end scene. I also think I could’ve used color to liven up the scenes but I also like the aesthetic of staying in black and white and sticking with the hand drawn style.
